Château Pavie-Macquin is situated in Saint-Émilion appellation and is distinguished with second to highest B-classification Premier Grand Cru Classé. The vineyard in owned by the Corre-Macquin family. The famous owner of the château was Albert Macquin in 19th century – a professional in grafting of European scions on American root-stocks. The Château Pavie-macquin is vinified from 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Château Pavie-Macquin 2006 is distinguished through its baroque, ripe and expressive fruits with the notes of licorice, plums and blackberries. At the begin – fresh and noble, with extra rich body that is well covered with the wine's texture. In the middle – creamy, integrated and elegant.
