Château Monbrison is a small estate of 13.2 ha in Margaux, Médoc being classified to Cru Bourgeois supérieur not long ago. The grapes are 50 per cent Cabernet Sauvignon, 30 per cent Merlot, 15 per cent Cabernet Franc and 5 per cent Petit Verdot.
Château Monbrison has rich ruby colour characteristic for this Margaux. As soon as it touches palate the impressions of suppleness and good integration appear. The nose is a fine bouquet with touches of coffee, black fruits and meat.
