Château Marquis de Terme is a rarely known vineyard in Margaux. In 1762 Monsieur de Péguihan Marquis de Terme, which name the vineyard is carrying until now, became its owner as result of a marriage. Its current owner is Phillippe Sénéclauze.
The 35ha are planted with 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Melot, 7% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc. The long-lasting wine goes into oak barrels, which are one third new each vintage for up to eighteen months.
