Chateau Latour a Pomerol has a grapeyard from 9 ha. The Soil ist chalky-loam. The grapes are 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. The Chateau produce about 30.000 bottles each year.
As well as Chateau Petrus Madame Loubart was the owner of Chateau Latour a Pomerol till she died 1961. Since 1963 Jean-Pierre Moueix vinificate and dispels the wines from this Chateau. Sometimes you can compaire these wines with some burgundy and these are allways a gain.
