The grapes of Chateau Plince grow up on a chalky, gritty and loam terroir. Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon are planted and the grapes are 25 years old. Because of the balanced minerals and numerous hours of sun the wine gets a crimson color with a purple glow. It tastes towards red and black berries with fine tannins. It reminds a bit of burgundy.
The grapeyard of Chteau Plince ist 8,3 ha large an mounted with 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.
