Carruades de Lafite is the second label of Château Lafite-Rothschild. To 1784 the estate was owned by the Ségur family, from then on its owner had changed several times. Since 1994 Charles Chevalier has managed the vineyards on behalf of the proprietors.
To the vine varieties count 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot.
