Château Moulin Saint-Georges belongs to Alain Vauthier, the owner of Saint-Émilion's pride Ausone. The enourmous quality of his flagship is manifested in Moulin Saint-Georges as well, that tastes as a small Ausone. Beautiful vineyards situated just in stone's throw from Ausone measure 7ha with grape varieties Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%). The Moulin Saint-Georges ripens in the new oak barrels, renewed to 100% each vintage. The wine differs from its 'seniour' brother in the earlier drink ripeness and exuberance.
