The Angelus style is the alliance between an audacious grape variety and an outstanding terroir. It is that unique character that comes from the south-facing slope of Saint Emilion and the high proportion of Cabernet Franc that is always a joy to find in each vintage, year after year, with its richness, density, unctousity, elegance, pedigree, purity and freshness. With an intense black colour this wine develops black fruit aromas mingling with notes of cocoa. The richness and density of the wine come to the fore on the mid-palate. A complex, firm finish brings great freshness and great length to this very typical vintage of great Saint-Emilions.
