The grapes of Chateau Le Gay are really old and on a 20 ha large terroir. This Chateau had a lot of potencial but it wasn't use that much in the 20th century. But if it was use an awesome wine with fullness, solidness and a lot of tannic was born.
Since 2006 family Pere-Verge is the owner of this Chateau above an awesome terroir. Near by is Chateau Trotanoy. Michel Rolland vinificate the wines for a lot of years and gives him permanence with fineness. The grapes are 65 % Merlot and 35 % Cabernet Franc and remember about red fruits and undergrowth.
Cuvee: 65 % Merlot, 35 % Cabernet Franc
