Named after the Scottish trader John Lewis Brown who bought the estate in the 18th century, Chateau Brown covers 59 hectares, 24,5 h. of which are planted with red grape varieties (55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot).
This vintage has a higher acidity than usual. The nose is very fruity but also fresh with scents of black berries and smoke. Very nice silky tannic structure on the palate, smooth and long-lasting.
