Located on the Saint-Émilion limestone plateau, Chateau Canon, which has belonged to the Wertheimer Family (owners of Chanel) since 1996, has an outstanding terroir entitling it to Premier Grand Cru Classé B status since 1954.
After major investments in renovating the vineyard and the cellars, the wines are now made under the best possible conditions. The wine is fermented traditionally in jacketed truncated cone-shaped vats followed by oak ageing with racking from barrel to barrel. The cellar was built to measure to enable John Kolasa's dynamic winemaking team to reflect Canon's unique finesse and quality vintage after vintage.
Through the years, Chateau Canon has become widely recognized as a fine, elegant and complex wine that richly rewards your patience.
