The Domaine Faiveley is 120 ha large and become more and more popular and of first-class quality since the foundation in 1825. Today the owner of this Domaine is Francois Faiveley with his son. It is located in the middle of burgundy between Dijon and Beaune in Nuits-Saint-Georges.
In this area a lot of the best areas of burgundy is hold by Domaine Faiveley: Gevrey-Chambertin, Pommard, Volnay, Puligny-Montrachet, Mercurey. But the quantity is defined because the vineyards are only around 1 ha large there. The harvest is between 10 days in September.
Awards & Ratings
91 Points Wine Spectator:
"There's a dense grain to the tannins in this red, along with cherry, currant and spice flavors. Firm and compact on the finish for now, with fruit and spice notes echoing. Best from 2017 through 2026." - BS, 06-15-2015
