Château Monbrison is a small estate of 13.2 ha in Margaux, Médoc being classified to Cru Bourgeois supérieur not long ago. The grapes are 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot.
Château Monbrison has a rich, ruby colour- typical for this Margaux. As soon as it touches the palate, the impressions of suppleness and good integration appear. The nose is a fine bouquet with touches of coffee, black fruits and meat.
