This Bordeaux wine is popular with consumers as offers both quality and a fair price. From a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, the 2010 Barde Haut wine scents of licorice, chocolate covered black cherry and espresso pop from the glass. Luxurious and mouth filling, with a minor touch of heat in the otherwise long, lush, licorice and ripe, black plummy finish.
