Chateau Cantenac Brown

The revitalisation of Cantenac-Brown became a realistic possibility only with its acquisition by AXA Millésimes. The new owner is a British businessman by the name of Simon Halabi. The soils are typically gravelly and are planted with 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. The wine, a bright ruby colour, has a superbly complex aromatic character with notes of pepper, meat, coffee, wild strawberries and even port.
